How Feeling Our Emotions Might Save Our Lives
We all have archetypes within us and parts of us that we identify with, but when we over identify with these aspects and make them into “I Am” that….our field of vision narrows and we stop seeing life “objectively” but subjectively, according to the identity and narrative of that archetype. If we can observe ourselves from the outside, disidentifying with these parts and witnessing them instead, we feel more liberated, less shackled to the suffering of that given archetype and more empowered as our true Authentic Self that lies beyond any of our parts and our personality, itself. Letting Go Of The Victim: How Archetypes, Identities & Ideologies Trap Us
We’re really in a time of ‘be the change you wish to see.’ Ideologies no longer mean anything if how you’re showing up with your fellow human kind is lacking in kindness, compassion and humanity. We have to walk our talk. But identities are strong because we like what’s familiar even if it doesn’t serve us, over the unknown even if it might be the best thing for us. We attach to what we know because without an identity we fear no existing. But when does ideology become too much? When it loses heart and humanity. When it ironically becomes the very thing it is fighting against. It’s all about being, my friends. Being the change. Being kind. Being loving. On Archetypes, Identities & Ideologies & How They’re Sometimes Hard To Let Go Of
The words that stand out to me right now that are so important in these times are authenticity, compassion, kindness, gentleness, care, sovereignty… In times of great change and transition, it becomes vital to come home to ourselves. To find and create peace within ourselves so that we can embody and imbue it into our outer lives among our friends, family, community and the collective at large. May we look for beauty in the mundane. Find peace in our sometimes messy humanity. Feel into the gratitude for the small things and believe in ourselves and one another undoubtedly to create a more beautiful and loving world. Why Coming Home To Our Authentic Self Is So Important Right Now
We like to segregate our emotions and deem some as good and others as bad. I see that as a complete misinterpretation of what emotions are. They are a language. They speak to you. They are messengers to alert you to what is going on within you. As long as you hide away from the shadow, your fears and pains will follow you like a dark figure in the night. Don’t Shy Away From Your Shadow, All Of Your Emotions Matter
What is sovereignty? To me it’s the true ‘I Am’ of the essence of my being. My soul. My Authentic Self. After thousands of years of being removed from our sovereignty, as we experience the old, crumbling and the new emerging, sovereignty must find itself at the core of building new paradigms in order for us to evolve. We’re moving through it both individually and collectively. It’s guiding us to come out of co-dependency (which is why relationships are being so affected at the moment both for singles and couples), out of top down authority, out of competition and into collaboration, interdependence and genuine self and collective empowerment. We might be riding these waves for years to come so how do we navigate surfing the ebb and flow?
